Well, I finally decided on what type of content  management system I would utilize to host my portfolio. I will be using WordPress, evidenced by this post here. As a blogging tool, it will allow me to show current updates on the front page and one of the nifty plugins offers a gallery system that I will be testing out shortly. As it takes multiple media types, I will hopefully be able to upload my short film projects to include in this as well.

I chose wordpress over the other CMS systems which I was more familiar with–PHPnuke, e107, and other such things–because I finally realized I wouldn’t be able to do this in a single system. Instead I have hybridized how I will be able to display content.

So here begins the testing of Wordpress =)
